@OliverTaleYazdi @ET90266 @Polkadot Already working on a solution. Smart contracts would enhance it to adjust reward incentive via governance for canceling/delaying refs. Currently 2% for delay and 5% for cancel.

@ET90266 @Polkadot So you mean people can apply for funding via scheduled milestone based payouts (a few refs like this have already been approved e.g. #1497). Anyone in the community can track upcoming payouts for milestones and create a cancel/delay proposal if need be. Demo soon.
