Parody Account. not Utah's Governor. Male poultry enthusiast. Ranching one very small rooster behind a $260,000 tax funded fence. I love pronouns and Calliou.
Well guys. I'm excited to finally embrace my lifelong dream of becoming a rooster rancher. I've only got one bird. He's a small Serama that I named "lil Spencer", just like me. Wish me luck with my foray in to chicken farming. Small cocks, big dreams.
Utah has a thriving cattle industry, now that @slcmayor has opened the door to cutting off water based on political views you MAGA turds will have to shower this way too. #DisagreeBetter bitches!
UTAH'S BROKEN ELECTIONS: Utah's election system doesn't just allow candidates to purchase access to primary ballots...
It also allows candidates to win elections even if they lost a majority of votes.
In 2020, Spencer Cox won the GOP governor's primary with just 36.1% support. Blake Moore won the CD1 primary with just 31%
In 2023, Celeste Maloy won the CD2 special election primary with 38.8%. In 2024, John Curtis won the senate primary with 48.7%
Our system is too easy to manipulate. Power and attention-hungry candidates pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to gather signatures to qualify for Republican ballots, then get elected with 1/3 of the vote.
