Always great to see my friend and fellow Minnesotan, Angie Craig, around the halls of Congress. She's one of the few Democrats who's willing to work across the aisle to get important legislation like the Laken Riley Act across the finish line!
We will miss you around here, Angie.
I’m was a Steyer supporter since he released his housing plan. It was exactly what we needed to help California prosper and make it as great as it can be. I knew it was going to be difficult to overcome him being a billionaire, but I was willing to try to convince people. I’m writing this angry at my fellow Californians who won’t embrace change, but my only hope is Becerra isn’t as much of trainwreck as he was during the jungle primary.
No more of this “vote blue nomatter who” shit. You had your chance to make the right choice and you blew it. Im supporting Steve Hilton for governor and if he makes your life worse, good, you deserve it. Fuck you and your corporate husk of a candidate.
from an urban planning pov with steyer losing, it’s even more clear to me how important it is for nithya raman to win the LA mayor race in november as she’s incredibly pro housing and she’s the only REAL shot at building the necessary affordable housing we need
CNN: Tom Steyer (D) concedes race for California governor
Steyer: “It would be a travesty for Steve Hilton to win the governorship, and Californians must unite behind Xavier Becerra to ensure he does not.”
