NEW: The man who opened fire in a Rhode Island ice arena shot and killed his wife and shot two of his kids before turning the gun on himself, according to Fox News.

The incident is being called a "domestic violence" altercation that turned deadly, according to the outlet.

All members of the Coventry Boys Hockey team have been accounted for and are safe.

"District officials were notified of the situation while the team was at the arena and immediately began coordinating with event staff and law enforcement. An officer from the Coventry Police Department is on scene and remains with the students," said Coventry Public Schools Superintendent Don Cowart.

Two people are deceased, including the suspect, and four others are injured.
