👀 someone wanted to enhance Gower’s beautiful views by dumping this lot on Fairwood common.
Pls could people dispose of their rubbish correctly, if using a rubbish clearance firm then pls make sure they dispose of your waste correctly. This costs a lot of money to remove!

Yesterday we had a report of a cyclist stopping on Cefn Bryn and having a cuddle with a new born lamb!
If you have any concerns pls contact us so we can contact the correct owner of the animal.

We are the 2nd week in to a new year, we would love to wish everybody a happy new year with a fresh new start however two weeks in and we are already on death number 2.
13/1/24 ewe hit and run Blackhills Lane
*INCIDENT 2 - 13/1/24 PM/Sun 14/1/24 Cow hit and left to die pengwern.

Please take extra care when crossing the commons in the cold weather, the salt draws livestock onto the roads as they like to lick it!

Expect animals in the roads DAY AND NIGHT, give yourself plenty of time to cross the commons, make sure your windscreens are clear!

'It is extremely upsetting to come across'

Following a series of animal deaths in the Gower commons, a local safety action group are pleading with drivers to slow down when travelling through land with grazing animals.

Ryers Down common Llanmadoc.
The pictures are very disturbing and the debris left at the scene is of a silver vw.
If anyone has any information regarding this accident pls message us in confidence or pls contact South Wales Police.

Roughly 7pm
Hit and run in Llanmadoc. Every leg was broken and left to die at the side of the road.
Pls report all incidents involving free roaming animal to South Wales police 999 emergency 101 non emergency don’t leave them to die at the side of the road 🙏

The person followed the correct procedure. Unfortunately the cow was pts at the scene.

Ewe killed in the North road Fairwood.
Please be aware the animals will lay on the roads to escape the flys and seek the warmth of the tarmac.

Late in receiving information. Lamb found fairy hill side of Reynoldston with a broken leg and injuries consistent with a RTA. Please report and incidents involving free roaming animals to @SWPSwansea 🙏
