SEAL Team 3 - Task Unit Bruiser (The Punishers)
Task Unit Bruiser - SEAL Team 3 Deployed to Ramadi, Iraq. 2006 during one of the most intense phases of the Iraq War.
Led by Jocko Willink, the unit partnered with U.S. Army and Marine Corps forces to conduct direct action missions, sniper operations, reconnaissance, and urban combat against insurgent networks.
Their performance during the Battle of Ramadi played an important role in helping stabilize the city, earning Task Unit Bruiser recognition as one of the most highly decorated special operations units of the Iraq W@r.
Chris Kyle served as a sniper with SEAL Team 3 Task Unit Bruiser during the Battle of Ramadi in 2006. Throughout the deployment, members of the unit were known for raising the American flag on rooftops after securing key positions, serving as a symbol of U.S. presence.
