The Defence Minister has now issued a clarification. He said he was informed "immediately" about the strike and this morning's comments were in reference to when he knew about the media report.
Today the Defence Minister said he only learned about the Iranian missile attack on the Ali Al-salem Air Base in Kuwait where CAF were stationed after La Presse reported on it.

Canada's unemployment rate fell to 6.5% in November, down from its peak of 7.1% in September.
