தமிழகப் பள்ளி மாணவர்களின் மதிய உணவுத் திட்டத்தில் வழங்கப்படும் முட்டைகளுக்கு, ஆண்டு முழுவதும் ஒரு முட்டைக்கு ₹5.63 என்ற நிலையான விலையை தமிழக அரசு வழங்குகிறது. இந்த நிலையில், கடந்த மார்ச் மாதம் ஒரு முட்டை ₹3.70 என்று விலை குறைந்த போது, ஒப்பந்ததாரர்கள் சுமார் 20 கோடி முட்டைகளை வாங்கி குளிர்சாதன கிடங்குகளில் சேமித்து வைத்திருக்கிறார்கள் என செய்திகள் வெளியாகியுள்ளன.

அதாவது, குறைந்த விலைக்கு பெருமளவில் சேமித்து வைத்து, ஆண்டு முழுவதும், பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கு வழங்கத் திட்டமிட்டுள்ளதாகத் தெரிகிறது.

முட்டை என்பது நீண்ட காலம் கெட்டுப் போகாமல் இருக்கும் பொருள் அல்ல. குளிர்சாதனக் கிடங்கில் மாதக்கணக்கில் வைத்திருந்து, பின்னர் தொலைதூர கிராமப்புற பள்ளிகளுக்கு கொண்டு செல்லப்படும் போது அதன் தரம், ஊட்டச்சத்து மற்றும் உணவு பாதுகாப்பு நிச்சயம் பாதிப்புக்குள்ளாகும்.

கடந்த திமுக ஆட்சியில், பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கு மதிய உணவுக்கு பல முறை அழுகிய முட்டை வழங்கப்பட்டதைக் கடுமையாகக் கண்டித்திருந்தோம். தவெக ஆட்சியிலும், அதே நிலை தொடராமல் இருக்க வேண்டும். இது வெறும் கொள்முதல் சார்ந்த பிரச்சனை அல்ல. லட்சக்கணக்கான பள்ளிக் குழந்தைகளின் ஆரோக்கியம் மற்றும் பெற்றோரின் நம்பிக்கை சார்ந்ததாகும்.

எனவே, முட்டைகளின் சேமிப்பு காலம், தர பரிசோதனை, போக்குவரத்து மற்றும் விநியோக நிலை குறித்து தமிழக அரசு வெளிப்படையான கண்காணிப்பையும் கடுமையான ஆய்வையும் உடனடியாக மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்று வலியுறுத்துகிறேன். குழந்தைகளுக்கு வழங்கப்படும் உணவின் தரத்தில், எந்தவித அலட்சியமும் ஏற்க முடியாது.

In April 2026, when the CBSE announced that three languages for Class VI students shall be made compulsory and 2 of the three languages shall be native to India, I was one amongst many who welcomed this decision that allows Children to learn multiple languages from a young age, which would help them to broaden their understanding of India’s diverse literary landscape.

In the very same notification released in April 2026, it was explicitly mentioned that the Third language for Class IX children studying in CBSE schools will be made compulsory only from the Academic year 2029-30, which is 3 years from now.

However, on 15th May 2026, the CBSE sent a notification to all affiliated schools introducing the third compulsory language for Class IX students from this academic year, rolling back its previous commitment to make it compulsory only from the academic year 2029-30.

This has come as a shock to many parents, especially those from TN, as their Children have already selected a language of choice in Class VI, and now the revised notification mandates that Class IX students learn 3 languages, 2 of which are native to India, with effect from 1st July 2026. Expecting a Class IX student to learn a new language in a short time will only pressurise children and affect their overall learning outcomes.

I request the Ministry of Education to roll back this notification immediately and to stick to the previous commitment to introduce the learning of 3 languages, of which 2 shall be native Indian languages, for Class IX, from the academic year 2029-30.

குறிப்பிட்ட 2026 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் மாதம் வெளியிடப்பட்ட அறிவிப்பில், ஒன்பதாம் வகுப்பு CBSE மாணவர்களுக்கு மூன்றாவது மொழியை கட்டாயமாக்குவது, இன்றிலிருந்து மூன்று ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு, 2029-30 கல்வியாண்டிலிருந்து மட்டுமே அமல்படுத்தப்படும் என்று தெளிவாக குறிப்பிடப்பட்டிருந்தது.

ஆனால், கடந்த வாரம், மே 15, 2026 அன்று, CBSE அனைத்து இணைப்பு பள்ளிகளுக்கும் அனுப்பியுள்ள புதிய சுற்றறிக்கையில், இந்தக் கல்வியாண்டிலிருந்தே ஒன்பதாம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்களுக்கு மூன்றாவது மொழியை கட்டாயமாக்கியுள்ளது. இதன் மூலம், 2029-30 கல்வியாண்டிலிருந்து மட்டுமே அமல்படுத்தப்படும் என்ற தனது முந்தைய அறிவிப்பை, CBSE அமைப்பு மீறியிருக்கிறது.

CBSE அமைப்பின் இந்த திடீர் அறிவிப்பு, பெற்றோர்களுக்கு, குறிப்பாகத் தமிழக மாணவர்களின் பெற்றோர்களுக்குப் பெரும் அதிர்ச்சியை ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறது. ஏனெனில், அவர்களின் குழந்தைகள் ஏற்கனவே ஆறாம் வகுப்பிலேயே தாங்கள் விரும்பிய மொழியைத் தேர்வு செய்துள்ள நிலையில், தற்போது வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ள புதிய அறிவிப்பின் படி, ஒன்பதாம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்கள் மூன்று மொழிகளை கட்டாயமாகக் கற்க வேண்டும் என்றும், அதில் இரண்டு மொழிகள் இந்திய மொழிகளாக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்றும், அது இந்தக் கல்வியாண்டு 2026 ஜூலை 1 முதலே அமலுக்கு வரும் என்றும் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.

மிகவும் குறுகிய காலத்திற்குள் ஒன்பதாம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்கள் மற்றுமொரு புதிய மொழியைக் கற்க வேண்டும் என்று எதிர்பார்ப்பது, குழந்தைகளுக்கு தேவையற்ற மனஅழுத்தத்தை ஏற்படுத்தி, அவர்களின் மொத்தக் கல்வித் திறனையும் பாதிக்கும்.

எனவே, இந்த புதிய அறிவிப்பை மத்திய கல்வி அமைச்சகம் உடனடியாக திரும்பப் பெற வேண்டும் என்றும், ஒன்பதாம் வகுப்பில் மூன்று மொழிகள், அதில் இரண்டு இந்திய மொழிகள் கட்டாயமாக்கப்படும் திட்டத்தை, முன்பே அறிவித்தபடி மூன்று ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு, 2029-30 கல்வியாண்டிலிருந்து மட்டுமே அமல்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்றும் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்.

எதிர்பார்த்த தேர்வு முடிவுகள் கிடைக்கப் பெறாத மாணவ, மாணவியர் சோர்ந்து போகாமல், மீண்டும் நன்றாகப் படித்து வெற்றி பெற வாழ்த்துக்கள்.

அனைத்து மாணவர்களுக்கும் ஒரு சிறப்பான எதிர்காலம் அமையவும், பல்வேறு துறைகளில் சாதனையாளர்களாக உருவாகவும், இறைவனை வேண்டிக் கொள்கிறேன்.

Days after DMK MLA Thiru Udhayanidhi Stalin spoke about eradicating Sanathana Hindu Dharma on the floor of the legislative assembly, TVK MLA Thiru VMS Mustafa came in support of Thiru Udhayanidhi Stalin’s remarks. Not only is this very unfortunate but also it shows the level of hatred they harbour in their minds towards an eternal Dharma that helps us to lead a meaningful life!

DMK & TVK, in their very short history, have proven to the people that they are two sides of the same coin. DMK has forgotten what their constant attack on Sanathana Hindu Dharma has brought them to. TVK will also soon remember.

If either DMK or TVK had the courage of conviction, they should have openly declared during their election campaigns that targeting Sanathana Hindu Dharma would be central to their politics. Instead, they hid behind secularism & theatrics, only to reveal their true intentions after seeking votes from the very people whose faith they now insult with arrogance and impunity.

Please be reminded, Sanathana Hindu Dharma is not your punching bag! I sincerely hope their remarks will not go unpunished by our people.
