》Wukong would be too socially awkward/anxious to make an intro card, so just have me being here instead LMAO
I imagine he would mostly lurk on social media but that’s not fun so I’m forcing my fav isolated monkey to talk to people.
leave because of high demands and short deadlines for a while..
Disheartening, and another disappointing loss for the creative industry because of company greed. Will forever miss flying bark on LMK 💔
》I REMEMBERED SMTH I FORGOT TO SAY ABOUT THIS
I think a lot of people are confusing “style” and “animation”!! Which is why the comparison of “lol u guys weren’t here for s1” annoys me. Stylistically S1 was different, but animation-wise, it’s pretty consistent. +
FINALLY, SOMEONE PUT IT INTO WORDS! THANK YOU!
I was SO UPSET about this change, not because the new animators are “bad” or I “hate” the people behind the new studio, but because it is just another example of disrespect toward animators for the sake of capitalism.

》People don’t have a problem with STYLE.
I’m still disheartened by the change, but I’m in the mindset of “oh well, suck it up.”
LEGO can eat shit tho. From what I’ve read in the animators responses, it sounded like this was a long-time coming and they were going to have to+

Just popping on this account to give my opinion on the s5 trailer and everyone else’s responses to it cause I feel very strongly about it:
I think we should stop being so lenient to companies disrespecting animators and artists that eventually lead to instances like this +
@PeonyFlowerKing I do agree with this! I’ve said to others that I don’t think I’d be as upset with the studio change if it was changed to a studio who specialises in hand drawn 2D. It’s upsetting either way, but I’m glad it wasn’t cancelled. Though, apart of me wishes it was just paused instead

it would’ve taken a lot more time and money, but this would’ve been the ideal replacement for flying bark. I’m a bit upset lego went with the cheaper option, but i think wildbrain could still do great given more time and practice
@lyfsanity Agreed 100%. I also know the show is technically for little kids, and from a business standpoint the decision makes sense, but it’s still upsetting and honestly, really disheartening.
I hope they’ll end up taking the show back, but I don’t have high hopes.

I hope they can come back for season 6, because they deserve to finish what they started, even if they couldn’t be there for the entirety of the shows run. I think they deserve to send it off on a final goodbye.

Obviously, there’s not much we can do and I don’t want people to harass the new animators. But I also don’t think we should let this level of disrespect to the FB and WildBrain team slide, either.

FB cared so much about the show. I’d see amazing fanart for it on social media, and check out the artists page just to find it was one of the official team members work. They even had their own crew shirts for the series.
I don’t think it’s fair for people to dismiss and

and I think LEGO wasn’t patient enough to wait for them to get far its production, and just wanted the 5th season out (pure speculation on my part). Everyone ive spoken to has said they would have waited another 3-5 years if it meant FB could come back.
