Iran seems to be following a strategy of unveiling more and more impressive military capabilities as the war goes on.
They just fired long-range ballistic missiles at Diego Garcia, one of the most strategically significant U.S. military bases in the world (hosting B-52 bombers, nuclear subs, etc.), nearly 5,000km away from them in the middle of the Indian ocean 👇.
Diego Garcia has never been hit before in any war in its 5 decades of existence, and no-one knew Iran had these types of capabilities (Iran themselves said their ballistic missile range was limited to 2,000 kilometers).
Two days ago, they also took down an "unkillable" F-35 fifth-generation fighter jet, something which has never happened before (https://t.co/94iks3uOy0).
They've also managed to take control of the world's most strategic oil chokepoint, and have proven they can hit any strategic target in the wider Middle-East, even the most protected ones (such as Israel's Haifa oil refinery: https://t.co/XvFqewBZPZ).
All in all, it sounds almost unbelievable but Iran appears to have a genuine form of escalation dominance over the United States military, with its trillion dollar budget.
In a very real way, it's even more impressive than Vietnam or Afghanistan: those countries resisted a superpower, Iran appears to be competing with one.
It also makes you think: what comes next? And that's exactly what escalation dominance is all about: keep raising the stakes until the other side blinks. It's about making Trump think "wait, I thought I was picking a fight with the skinny kid and turns out he's Bruce Lee."
ANALYSIS: It seems very clear now that Trump has lost control of his administration, and the DOJ is answering to Netanyahu who ordered the release of this latest batch of Epstein files – with Trump’s name NOT redacted – in making good on a blackmail threat being delivered when Trump recently refused to order the all-out military attack on Iran. But there’s more: Israeli-linked financial terrorists also likely engineered today’s selloffs of gold, silver and stocks, delivering a message to Trump: “Either do what we say, or we will crash your economy and destroy your presidency.”
Trump’s own DOJ has clearly turned against him, which means Pam Bondi is functioning exactly as Israel needs: The enforcer of Netanyahu’s will against America’s interests, forcing Trump’s hand to sacrifice U.S. military assets (and probably U.S. soldiers) in Israel’s bloodlust attempt to destroy Iran. Trump himself essentially admitted all this in a Truth Social post from July 16, 2025: “They created the Epstein Files, just like they created the FAKE Hillary Clinton/Christopher Steele Dossier that they used on me, and now my so-called 'friends' are playing right into their hands.”
Bottom line? Trump has lost control. Netanyahu is running America, the DOJ, the FBI and the entire Trump administration. Every single element of the federal government is now aimed at Trump with an assortment of threats to unleash mass chaos (economic, civil, geopolitical, etc.) unless Trump does Netanyahu’s bidding. What we saw today was just the “lashing out” of Israeli intelligence, flexing their control over information and financial markets, to send Trump a final warning message: Either wage full-scale war with Iran, or we’ll destroy your president and the U.S. economy with it.
In a way, it’s even worse than exploding pagers. But it’s the same mindset.
If Trump attacks Iran full force, Israel will make sure financial markets surge again next week, restoring the illusion of “wealth” and protecting Trump’s presidency (which is of course strongly tied to perceptions of economic strength).
If Trump refuses to attack Iran, then they’ll remove him from power with another round of damning document dumps (real, fake or otherwise) and install the next person in line (Vance?) who’s willing to be more obedient.
America is an occupied nation. The people we elect aren’t in charge at all.
The real reason the US is invading Venezuela goes back to a deal Henry Kissinger made with Saudi Arabia in 1974.
And I'm going to explain why this is actually about the SURVIVAL of the US dollar itself.
Not drugs. Not terrorism. Not "democracy."
This is about the petrodollar system that has kept America the dominant economic power for 50 years.
And Venezuela just threatened to end it.
Here's what really just happened:
Venezuela has 303 billion barrels of proven oil reserves.
The largest on Earth.
More than Saudi Arabia.
20% of the entire world's oil.
But here's the part that matters:
Venezuela was actively selling that oil in Chinese yuan. Not dollars.
In 2018, Venezuela announced it would "free itself from the dollar."
They started accepting yuan, euros, rubles, anything BUT dollars for oil.
They were petitioning to join BRICS.
They were building direct payment channels with China that bypass SWIFT entirely.
And they were sitting on enough oil to fund de-dollarization for decades.
Why does this matter?
Because the entire American financial system is built on one thing:
The petrodollar.
In 1974, Henry Kissinger made a deal with Saudi Arabia:
All oil sold globally must be priced in US dollars.
In exchange, America provides military protection.
This single agreement created artificial demand for dollars worldwide.
Every country on Earth needs dollars to buy oil.
This lets America print unlimited money while other countries work for it.
It funds the military. The welfare state. The deficit spending.
The petrodollar is more important to US hegemony than aircraft carriers.
And there's a pattern of what happens to leaders who challenge it:
2000: Saddam Hussein announces Iraq will sell oil in euros instead of dollars.
2003: Invaded. Regime change. Iraq's oil immediately switched back to dollars. Saddam lynched.
The WMDs were never found because they never existed.
2009: Gaddafi proposes a gold-backed African currency called the "gold dinar" for oil trade.
Hillary Clinton's own leaked emails confirm this was the PRIMARY reason for intervention.
Email quote: "This gold was intended to establish a pan-African currency based on the Libyan golden Dinar."
2011: NATO bombs Libya. Gaddafi sodomized and murdered. Libya now has open slave markets.
"We came, we saw, he died!" Clinton laughed on camera.
The gold dinar died with him.
And now Maduro.
With FIVE TIMES more oil than Saddam and Gaddafi combined.
Actively selling in yuan.
Building payment systems outside dollar control.
Petitioning to join BRICS.
Partnered with China, Russia, and Iran.
The three countries leading global de-dollarization.
This isn't coincidence.
Challenge the petrodollar. Get regime changed.
Every. Single. Time.
Stephen Miller (US homeland security advisor) literally said it out loud two weeks ago:
"American sweat, ingenuity and toil created the oil industry in Venezuela. Its tyrannical expropriation was the largest recorded theft of American wealth and property."
He's not hiding it.
They're claiming Venezuelan oil BELONGS to America because US companies developed it 100 years ago.
By this logic, every nationalized resource in history was "theft."
But here's the DEEPER problem:
The petrodollar is already dying.
Russia sells oil in rubles and yuan since Ukraine.
Saudi Arabia is openly discussing yuan settlements.
Iran has been trading in non-dollar currencies for years.
China built CIPS, their own alternative to SWIFT with 4,800 banks in 185 countries.
BRICS is actively building payment systems that bypass the dollar entirely.
The mBridge project lets central banks settle trades instantly in local currencies.
Venezuela joining BRICS with 303 billion barrels of oil would accelerate this exponentially.
That's what this invasion is really about.
Not stopping drugs. Venezuela accounts for less than 1% of US cocaine.
Not terrorism. There's zero evidence Maduro runs a "terror organization."
Not democracy. The US supports Saudi Arabia, which has zero elections.
This is about maintaining a 50-year-old agreement that lets America print money while the world works for it.
And the consequences are terrifying:
Russia, China, and Iran are already denouncing this as "armed aggression."
China is Venezuela's biggest oil customer. They're losing billions.
BRICS nations are watching a country get invaded for trading outside the dollar.
Every nation considering de-dollarization just got the message:
Challenge the dollar and we will bomb you.
But here's the problem...
That message might accelerate de-dollarization, not stop it.
Because now every country in the Global South knows what happens if you threaten dollar hegemony.
And they're realizing the only protection is to move FASTER.
The timing is insane too:
January 3rd, 2026. Venezuela invaded. Maduro captured.
January 3rd, 1990. Panama invaded. Noriega captured.
36 years apart. Almost to the day.
Same playbook. Same "drug trafficking" excuse.
Same real reason: control of strategic resources and trade routes.
History doesn't repeat. But it rhymes.
What happens next:
Trump's press conference at Mar-a-Lago sets the narrative.
US oil companies are already lined up. Politico reported they've been approached about "returning to Venezuela."
The opposition will be installed. Oil will flow in dollars again.
Venezuela becomes another Iraq. Another Libya.
But here's what nobody's asking:
What happens when you can no longer bomb your way to dollar dominance?
When China has enough economic leverage to retaliate?
When BRICS controls 40% of global GDP and says "no more dollars"?
When the world realizes the petrodollar is maintained by violence?
America just showed its hand.
The question is whether the rest of the world folds or calls the bluff.
Because this invasion is an admission that the dollar can no longer compete on its own merits.
When you have to bomb countries to keep them using your currency, the currency is already dying.
Venezuela isn't the beginning.
It's the desperate end.
What do you think?
BREAKING: President Trump says the United States is going to run the country of Venezuela.
"We don't want to be involved with having somebody else get in, and we have the same situation that we had for the last long period of years."
"So we are going to run the country until such time as we can do a safe, proper, and judicious transition, and it has to be judicious because that's what we're all about."
I’ve served on the Homeland Security Committee for the past three years. I’m 100% for strong safe secure borders and stopping narco terrorists and cartels from trafficking deadly drugs and human trafficking into America.
Fentanyl is responsible for over 70% of U.S. drug overdose deaths and fentanyl comes from Mexican cartels made with chemical precursors from China and trafficked across the U.S. Mexico border.
Mexican cartels are primarily and overwhelmingly responsible for killing Americans with deadly drugs.
If U.S. military action and regime change in Venezuela was really about saving American lives from deadly drugs then why hasn’t the Trump admin taken action against Mexican cartels?
And if prosecuting narco terrorists is a high priority then why did President Trump pardon the former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez who was convicted and sentenced for 45 years for trafficking hundreds of tons of cocaine into America? Ironically cocaine is the same drug that Venezuela primarily traffics into the U.S.
The next obvious observation is that by removing Maduro this is a clear move for control over Venezuelan oil supplies that will ensure stability for the next obvious regime change war in Iran.
And of course why is it ok for America to militarily invade, bomb, and arrest a foreign leader but Russia is evil for invading Ukraine and China is bad for aggression against Taiwan? Is it only ok if we do it? (I’m not endorsing Russia or China)
Regime change, funding foreign wars, and American’s tax dollars being consistently funneled to foreign causes, foreigners both home and abroad, and foreign governments while Americans are consistently facing increasing cost of living, housing, healthcare, and learn about scams and fraud of their tax dollars is what has most Americans enraged. Especially the younger generations. Boomers and half of Gen X will cheer on neocon wars and talking points, but the other half of Gen X and majority on down see through it and hate it.
Americans disgust with our own government’s never ending military aggression and support of foreign wars is justified because we are forced to pay for it and both parties, Republicans and Democrats, always keep the Washington military machine funded and going.
This is what many in MAGA thought they voted to end.
Boy were we wrong.
As the baby boomers slip away both in votes and power, the electoral future will be decided for candidates that focus on American economic populism and promising prosperity for Americans only.
As of right now, neither party is offering the solution.
@HarrisonHSmith They would.
If Charlie turned heel on Israel, they would have someone shoot him at an open-air event and they have some idiot groyper with a genetically anomalous issue there to be the patsy/fall-guy.
Part of why you never make the deal with the Devil in the first place.
If you want to change the world, you have to have the courage to be an outsider.
Work hard.
Believe in the American Dream.
President Donald J. Trump’s 11 LIFE-CHANGING LESSONS! 🔥
70% of Americans can’t afford a median home. Why?
Broken money forced people to use real estate as savings, making homes unaffordable. Houses aren’t savings accounts, they’re meant to be lived in.
#Bitcoin demonetizes housing, drives prices down and puts families back in homes.
“Paying off my mortgage gives me peace of mind.”
Sounds smart, right?
It’s actually one of the most expensive emotional decisions you can make.
Here’s why paying off your mortgage early makes you poorer (and less free): 🧵
🧵BITCOIN KILLED REAL ESTATE
NOBODY takes real estate SERIOUSLY anymore.
You get a 30‑year relationship with a bank, a city that taxes you forever, and a roof that ages like milk.
Bitcoin only gave you roughly 70–80% annualized over the past decade while doing nothing in your garage.
Let's break it down 👇
A Satoshi-era whale just sold 80,000 BTC—worth over $9 billion.
These coins sat untouched since 2011.
Now they’re gone.
And Bitcoin barely moved.
This is more than a sale. It’s the clearest signal of what’s coming next. 🧵👇
American HODL says the coming Bitcoin treasury bubble could rival the dot-com era—$11T of capital chasing BTC, with true mania not hitting until 2026+.
That’s when Bitcoin could theoretically run towards a $1M blow-off top.
Is he on to something? Let's unpack 🧵👇
President Trump on Israel and Iran: "We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the fuck they’re doing."
Bitcoin's last three cycles all peaked in November or December, spaced four years apart.
Previous cycle highs:
10 Nov 2021: $68,997
17 Dec 2017: $19,804
29 Nov 2013: $1,242
If that pattern continues, this cycle would peak in November or December of 2025.
Bitcoin has also followed a power curve for 15 years.
The power curve forms a nice support line that I consider the intrinsic value of the network.
My favorite way to measure current price relative to the support is the "years ahead" metric. This metric tells you how long it could be, in the worst case, before the support "forces" prices higher than they are today.
Many on CT have declared that this cycle is different. I heard the same when I posted this last summer. Back then, everyone was sure that the ETFs and MSTR would end the cycle pattern and invalidate the power curve trendline.
What ended up happening was that Bitcoin underperformed expectations over the following year and now price is back to the mean of the cycle pattern.
The mood has shifted over this last year. Now, people seem to believe we couldn't possibly move from $100,000 to $200,000+ by the end of the year. I still believe that we will.
If we zoom out though, this cycle doesn't matter. My coins have been in cold storage for years and they'll still be there ten years from now. You don't need to trade, you don't need leverage, you don't need to pick the next btc treasury company, and you don't need to learn about options.
You can build generational wealth by simply saving in bitcoin.
