XIAO ZHAN LEVEL 34 UNLOCKED
#For34everWithXiaoZhan#Happy34thBDayXZ
@Keira_XFX I didn’t read the novel but I knew these pictures had hidden meanings and codes related to The Infinite 10 Days. Xiao Zhan keeps his XFX’s minds sharp. 😂
[Spoiler Alert] A theory: the photos released by the studio might be recreating a scene from #TheInfinite10Days. #XiaoZhan
The moment I saw the photos released by the studio, I immediately thought of “Courier” game in the novel. It's an espionage-themed game (does that sound familiar? 😄).
In this game, the Correspondent is placed in an isolated room with four items: a golden key, a golden lock, an iron box, and an encapsulated letter containing a secret code.
The Recipient is in another room with two items: a silver key and a silver lock. Qi Xia plays the Recipient. If you look at the photo on the left, you can also spot a bunch of silver keys on the table.
The room also contains a large microwave oven with the Hostage trapped inside. The Recipient must decipher the coded letter and figure out the password to unlock the door before the hostage is literally cooked alive.
Looking at the photo on the right, my guess is that Xiao Zhan/Qi Xia is entering the password he has just deciphered to save the hostage. As for the photo on the left, it could very well capture the moment when Qi Xia is completely focused on decoding the letter.
Besides the Correspondent and the Recipient, there's also a third role in the game: the Infiltrator. This character operates in the hallway, serving as the courier who delivers messages between the two sides.
Xiao Zhan really puts his heart into every role. Whenever he steps into a character, everything—from his aura to the tiniest details—reflects that character's identity.
I have a feeling there are still plenty of "hidden codes" waiting to be deciphered in Xiao Zhan's latest photos and vlog. I've only managed to decode a small part of them. Take a closer look and see if you can uncover anything else interesting. 😉
The award came to a close and I am so proud of Xiao Zhan for being nominated! I just know there will be many more recognition coming your way. As a fan, I couldn't be any happier on what you are able to accomplish. 💪

WHITE MAGNOLIA FOR XIAO ZHAN #OurBestActorXiaoZhan
Watching #XiaoZhan at the Magnolia Dinner Night, I was suddenly overcome by a surreal feeling. It was exactly the same feeling I had the first time I saw his poster here in the United States.
Time truly flies. I still remember discovering him in a drama with a cast full of fresh faces. And now, he sits among some of the industry's most respected directors and veteran actors.
As I watched him sitting there, every character he has ever portrayed began replaying in my mind like scenes from a film. Only then did I realize that I had journeyed through so many chapters of those characters' lives alongside him.
To be honest, I've always believed he deserved to be here much sooner. But that's alright. The road ahead is still long, and his future is brighter than ever.
Wishing you a triumphant victory this time. May your name shine among the brightest.❤️
I will continue to applaud and cheer for you because I know how great of an actor you are. YOU are the best actor! And I know you’ll only become better as time goes on♥️

Asian Art Film Festival Weibo updated:
Heartiest congratulations to actor Xiao Zhan on winning Best Actor of the year in the Main Competition at the 2026 Asian Art Film Festival (Golden Petrel Award).
Looking at the long list of “blank-face” actors in C-dramas, have you ever wondered whether cold and aloof characters are actually much harder to portray than they seem? #XiaoZhan#XiaoZhanxShiYing
In my opinion, this “blank-face” problem comes from a common trap in acting: actors portray a personality trait rather than the character itself. When trying to appear cold and distant, they rely on a fixed expression they believe represents that type of person. As a result, what audiences see on screen is merely stiffness or a complete lack of emotion.
But personality does not exist in isolation. It is shaped by innate traits, upbringing, environment, and personal experiences. That is why a truly skilled actor always traces a character back to their past. Once they fully understand the character, they no longer “act out a personality,” but instead transform those lived experiences into actions and reactions. Every expression on screen then becomes logical, convincing, and layered with depth.
Shi Ying, as portrayed by Xiao Zhan, exemplifies this approach perfectly. He is not merely the lofty and untouchable Grand Priest of Jiuyi Mountain, but a deeply multifaceted character.
So where does Shi Ying’s aloofness come from? First of all, it is the result of years of cultivation on Jiuyi Mountain combined with his noble royal lineage. Together, these shaped an ethereal and detached aura around him — distant, untouchable, yet undeniably captivating.
He also deeply understands the responsibilities that come with royal blood, shaped through years of guidance from his mother, the Empress. I believe his decisiveness and his tendency to place the nation above all else also stem from her influence.
And yet, beneath the surface of someone seemingly perfect and rational lies a heart full of scars, constantly yearning to be loved. He once longed for affection from the father who pointed a sword at him. He also could not hide his hurt and sense of grievance after being slapped by his father during their reunion after years apart. Perhaps because of this, when he falls in love, he loves with an intensity that borders on self-destruction.
It is precisely because Xiao Zhan portrayed the character with such complexity and emotional depth that Shi Ying no longer feels like a distant, “untouchable” stereotype on screen, but instead becomes a real human being — someone the audience can understand, empathize with, and ultimately grieve for.
