En el Senado nos estamos preparando para la Conferencia Mundial de Mujeres Parlamentarias de la UIP 2025 (@IPUparliament), de la que México será sede del 13 a 16 de marzo. Qué revitalizante ver a tantas mujeres reunidas por el compromiso de avanzar en la agenda de los derechos de las mujeres en el mundo.

Muchas gracias a todas las mujeres jóvenes estudiantes de la Escuela Libre de Derecho, la UVM, el Tec de Monterrey, la Universidad Panamericana, la Universidad de Anáhuac, la Universidad La Salle, el CIDE y la UNAM que fungirán como anfitrionas en la conferencia y que asistieron hoy a esta capacitación.

Tuvimos la oportunidad de conversar sobre los avances legislativos en materia de derechos humanos de las mujeres, así como de las reformas constitucionales que la presidenta @Claudiashein promovió para garantizar la igualdad sustantiva entre mujeres y hombres.

Me entusiasma que nuestro país sea el anfitrión de esta conferencia en la que buscamos plantear estrategias innovadoras para promover la igualdad de género, los derechos y el empoderamiento de las mujeres. Nuestro país es un ejemplo en la representación igualitaria de mujeres y hombres en la toma de decisiones, por lo que tiene mucho que ofrecer al mundo en la materia.

Gracias, senadora @cynthialopezc1, por todo tu trabajo y esfuerzo en la presidencia de esta plataforma, por luchar para que México sea sede de este histórico encuentro.
