I loved the article “A New Letter to Teachers.” After 20+ years teaching, I still love it, but the article made me realize how quickly burnout can creep up on you without you truly realizing it. Time to freshen things up and revitalize! #patriotstrong

The first thing I learned about was Mastery Connect in Canvas. This will help us track mastery and know who needs reteaching. The second piece was discipline support, it seemed to clarify what to do and the effectiveness of teacher consequences. #pearsonlearns

Q1 The best part of my summer was going on our first big trip in our travel trailer with my husband and three dogs. We went to Grand Isle, LA, Orange Beach, AL and Galveston, TX. #pearsonlearns

A6 I am going to continue with One Word as my small group at church is using One Word for our next study. I had previously shared with my group about how the book had impacted my life and they thought it would great to do as a group study.

My student really did a great job on their persuasive projects. They chose some really challenging topics such as Strong Cards, Equality for Women, Grades and Stress, No Homework policies, Keeping the Arts in school, banning Standardized testing and so many more #PatriotStrong

A4 I need to spend more of my morning quiet time reflecting on what direction God wants to take me through my word. Not to sound overly religious, but I really think my word is a God thing. Time for me to move forward in my life and breakthrough the things holding me back.

A3 I have my word posted on my mantle at home and on my whiteboard in my class. My students asked me about it and we decided to do a bulletin board . It’s cool to see the kids get excited about it.
