Sometimes our dreams don’t disappear overnight. Sometimes they fade beneath fear and indifference, until silence starts to feel like a choice.

This month’s book with Buk’d and Bougie Club left me grieving. Reading about children taken from their families was difficult. Looking up from the pages and realizing children are still waiting to come home today made it harder.

Then I watched the Shekinah Theatre at Metamor4sis 2026. One thing stayed with me;
Influence cannot remain an idea.

We pray. We grieve. We speak.

But perhaps hope also asks something of us. It asks people of integrity not to abandon the spaces where decisions are made.
