I don’t feel close to God right now. Nothing has really changed. I’m still in The Word. I’m still in prayer. I still believe, but feelings lie. When feelings contradict Truth, don’t believe them. You won’t always feel God, but faith’s foundation was never feelings to begin with.

The testing of faith never turns a Christian into an Atheist. The testing of faith proves whether we had any faith to begin with. Genuine faith never fails. Faith is proved genuine when God tests us. If God tests our faith, and our faith fails, God didn’t fail the test, we did.

too many people want the title “christian” for the feel good aspects, not realizing that being a true, Spirit-led christian actually means a whole lot of longsuffering, trial, & warfare.

christianity isn’t pretty.

The creation is not equal to The Creator. The Creator is far greater than His creation. His creation is made in His image, but we are not equal to The Creator. Humble yourself. Submit to The Lord. Lean not on your own understanding because He is omniscient and we are not.
