@TimKalyegira Collective Society organisation that suits Africa and its traditions. Rebuilding a society whose history, literature, and others destroyed is a really complicated process.
@Prdavidtumwine@TimKalyegira Our biggest problem isn't even in Education, it is in the organisation of our societies. A good Education in a disorganised society is of no use.
@TimKalyegira What tangible solutions can Uganda and Africa atlarge take to break all those listed bottlenecks to their development? Please provide some solutions.
@regesa The succession project is still wide open. Though,I think that either a Moi or Mubarak scenario will come out, hence the rush to pass the Sovereignty law.
@TonyNatif The Banyarwanda issue isn't new in Uganda. Former President Obote had the same,so I think that it is easier for one to identify as a Tutsi or Hutu of Ugandan descent than a general term Munyarwanda.
@TonyNatif 2. Nobody is castigating or discriminating against them, but one holding a dual or multiple citizenship should never be near a ministerial position, most especially Internal Affairs.
@TonyNatif Two things need to be correct and upright,
1. There is no tribe called Banyarwanda,it is a generalisation of people that have Rwandan descent. They should be categorised as Tutsi,Hutu,or Batwa. This will remove Banyarwanda mark that associates them with Rwanda the country.
@SimonKaggwaNjal@ReachDrMuganga Read the constitution of Uganda before being sensational. Dr.Muganga has been given a docket that deals with day to day operations of the Citizens of Uganda and their data,so he should be fully a Ugandan citizen, not dual or triple.
@elisonk Well, that is a good angle to look at it that way,but there are countries in Asia whose development stems from fighting corruption and embracing meritocracy like Singapore, Malaysia, and others. We can use that model,if possible.
