The absolute proudest moment of my first year of teaching, and definitely something that we’ll be able to look back on as a real happy moment in years to come (5)
There’s a lot of things I love about being in teaching, but the sense of pride I felt today was unmatched. We have two Afghani refugees (year 8 and 9), neither of whom are confident in speaking/writing in English due to it being their second language (1)
This couldn’t be done without the incredible work from our student support team, and our absolutely fantastic EAL co-ordinator who all work so hard every moment of the day (4)
Highly recommend having a look at @ICT_MrP National Careers Week workshop on BBC Bitesize for anyone who hasn’t already! Task 1 allowed my form to tell share the great qualities they possess, a very wholesome activity and set them off on a happy start to the day🥳
For Anti-Bullying Week, my Year 10 form decided on some ‘random acts of kindness’ that they’re going to try. Here are just some that they came up with #AntiBullyingWeek#BeKind
I think I speak for all of us when I say that I couldn’t have done this year without the endless support from Rach. Off into the big wide world of teaching we go👩🏼🏫📚
Congratulations to my cohort of 22/23 .... I'm incredibly proud of every one of them!!! The history pupils in their lessons are lucky to have them!! @UWPGSEC

Hopefully the above link works to a drive with my Holocaust enquiry. Really proud of it using the UCL textbook so happy for people to peek and pocket if they wish, especially after all the help Twitter has given me over my time!
Feeling very grateful to have had a visit on Monday from the incredible Dr. Mindu Hornick to talk about her experiences as we approach Holocaust Memorial Day. A truly inspirational woman with an amazing story. Thank you to @rdavidgeworc for organising. @teachistory1066@UWPGSEC
Play-doh isn’t just for kids! Today we looked at teaching history at A Level, and different activities we can do in class to create discussion. We used play-doh to create a historic event before guessing each others creations. @UWPGSEC#historyteacher#teachertwitter
First placement done! I’m so grateful to have been part of such a wonderful department & have worked with an incredibly supportive group of staff. The pupils I have taught have been truly amazing and so special. @LaconCSchool I can’t thank you all enough! @UWPGSEC
