I played there this past week at State! It was awesome. Nebraska does all the state sports well, good attendance at all events especially the finals. We had great attendance for our quarter and semi final matches-great student, teacher, family and community support for all the teams. Plus all the other people who just love the sport and want to watch good soccer. After following this on Twitter I’m sad to see other states don’t have what we have. The student athletes who spend so much time practicing, missing other events, late night studying deserve to be celebrated if they make it to the highest level!

State soccer in Nebraska is the best. I play for Skutt Catholic-we lost in semi’s at state. Playing both the boys and girls state at one awesome location in an actual soccer stadium is the best feeling as an athlete. I look forward to high school soccer every year, it’s fun and really challenging at the same time along with having a sense of pride representing my school and classmates on such a big stage. I don’t really understand the hate on high school soccer. It forces us to adapt as one team coming from different clubs and different coaches and styles of play. Playing for my high school team has made me a better goalkeeper for sure!

Here are my Nebraska State Soccer highlights. We finished the season 13-3, with two of the loses coming to the two state finalists, 12 shutouts and our season ended in the state semi-finals. My season ended with a GAA of .514 and 8 goals scored on me. A huge thank you to my @SkyHawkSoccer defense for being so rock solid all season. I’m sad it’s over but I’m back to work preparing for GA Playoffs with @SNFC10G. Started my summer lifting program Monday and I’m excited to get back to regular sessions with my keeper coach. Big summer of games and ID camps ahead. @ImYouthSoccer @PrepSoccer @TopDrawerSoccer @GAcademyLeague

Lots of good highlights coming your way soon😭 Rough day but I am so incredibly proud of my team. The injuries hurt us but we all adapted and still gave all we had. We all laid our hearts on the line, gave it our best just wasn’t meant to be. Monday is a new year-preparations start. Big things coming this summer-Girls academy playoffs coming in June with my Sporting team. ID camps being booked. June 15th and college experiences loading. New beginnings and new club coming real soon. Lots of changes but I’m so excited and thankful to be on this journey. See and talk 😉 to you all soon!
