Happy 45th Independence Day Papua New Guinea wantoks!
Our project HAIVETA for Biennale I named after my mum Maryanne Haiveta Opa. I wanted to honour her & my aunties for teaching us the beauty & richness of our PNG culture! 🇵🇬

#Australia - I am alarmed at #NSW court's prison term against #ClimateProtester 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗰𝗼 and refusal to grant bail until a March 2023 appeal hearing. Peaceful protesters should never be criminalised or imprisoned.👇🏽

@DeSouzaRN@jkpepperill@Meriiki I cannot wait for Leah Avene to begin their therapy sessions. I feel like a person like them has been needed in this space since forever.
@atongatem Ooooh sis I’m so sorry this hasn’t been left behind where it belongs! Honestly, we need to stop fighting for scraps when the whole world has deprived and keeps depriving black women - there’s enough for all of us especially if we hold each other up instead of down. Love you 🖤
@NayukaGorrie@RonnieGorrie Haha my aunty was banned from coming to any of our games cos everytime she’d get ejected from the stadium for yelling at the refs and opposing team!
It hurts my heart, and fills me with no small measure of rage, to see so many amazing disabled people and their parents work so hard to advocate and educate, only to have a PM with privilege and a huge public platform publicly say he's 'blessed' to have kids without disabilities.
It's so sad that so many journalists contacted me yesterday to ask me about Djokovic. I've been in a cage for 9 years, I turn 24 today, and all you want to talk to me about is that.
Pretending to care by asking me how I am and then straight away asking questions about Djokovic.
