Growing older has made me less interested in proving that I can tolerate everything. Endurance is useful, but so is knowing when something no longer deserves your energy.
I don't think clarity always arrives through deep thinking. Sometimes you eat, shower, walk outside and realize the problem was never as enormous as it felt indoors.
I think there's a quiet kind of wealth in being able to sleep peacefully, wake up with purpose, trust the people around you, and not constantly feel like you're running from your own life.
There are moments when you realize you are defending a version of yourself that you don't even identify with anymore. Outgrowing yourself can be uncomfortable when other people still know you by the old version.
Sometimes you realize you've been asking for a new chapter while still emotionally living in the old one. No wonder nothing feels clear. You can't hear the future clearly when you're constantly rereading the past.
