It's an agency that has two cultures at its core -- Immigration and Customs.

Yeah -- I was there when the two were combined and I dealt with legacy Customs personnel and legacy INS personnel.

Don't think you know anything about this agency beyond my experiences.

For the first time EVER it has a mission that has it dealing with MILLIONS of illegals in the interior of the country -- caused mostly by Obama and Biden, but which traces its roots back to Reagan and "Main Street" liking the cheap labor before we offshored manufacturing to China.

Your reference facilities issues -- that's not ICE's fault. It has the capacity to house about 80,000 detainees on any given night, but the task of removing a million or more illegals every year.

It has never in his history been tasked to do what it has been tasked to do over the past 18 months. It had terrible leadership by a bunch of amateurs in the first 18 months who did not understand how to match capabilities to mission. That is sorting itself out some now, but it is a multi-year project.

The claims about widespread civil liberties violations are idiotic because they fail to grasp the limitations on the civil liberties involved. Pundits -- and that's what you are -- are responsible for much of that.

But the Admin. approach -- aggressive as it is -- is the approach that is winning the day in court.

And I think THAT is what bothers you the most.

Hi Aaron! Perhaps you and your boss should educate yourselves on Fairfax County’s Trust policy - which doesn’t allow cooperation with ICE unless a judicial warrant is involved, which is a warrant for a FEDERAL crime, not a state crime like rape, murder, ADW, etc.
