In 2002, 19-year-old British bin man Michael Carroll won almost £10 million on the National Lottery.
Instead of using the money to build a stable future, he squandered millions on crack cocaine, heavy gambling, designer jewelry, prostitutes, flashy cars, and nonstop wild parties.
He even bought a luxury mansion and reportedly trashed it by holding demolition derbies in his own backyard.
By 2010 just eight years after his massive win the entire fortune had completely disappeared.
Broke and bankrupt, Carroll returned to the same job he had before: working as a garbage collector.
