@EternalNoticer@Krissa_Kray_ But you’re so insistent that you know better about heat than we do because you’ve experienced that one (1) day over 104.5 four years ago.
@EternalNoticer@Krissa_Kray_ If you’re such an expert in “real” heat, then come hang out in New Orleans for one day and see how far that experience gets you.
@EternalNoticer@Krissa_Kray_ NH’s threshold for “a hot summer day” is 100 F. Your threshold for “it’s so hot that it’s a national crisis” is 104.5 F. Do you not see the difference?
@Lauraonthettc@alwaysalanna I teach at a state school with an excellent merit scholarship program. Most of my students are not paying any tuition at all. And they act like this anyway.
@pevensxine@rubycastello100@lokiseyez According to rumor, Tom was very sick when they were filming Loki’s arrival (which is why there are a few shots where he looks awful) and he was sneezing violently bc he had the flu. But they did choose to keep it in, so I’m interpreting it as him still suffering post Thanos
@AlexPemOfficial@drantbradley No?????? Idk how things work in other countries, but in the US grades are due very soon after the final exam period. I had under 48 hours this semester.
@GarrettWebste13@AaronSides2@RandylandSZN Cool, you do whatever makes sense for you. I think the 30 seconds to download the file is well worth the potential consequences of not being able to access it later. But that’s just me.
@LittleMikeyMcD@JohnBrown______@ZTP2620@RandylandSZN Prof might accidentally hide the document and you can’t access it (I’ve done that before). Canvas could have issues not relating to a cyberattack and become unavailable. All kinds of things could happen. Just take the three seconds to download the file.
@AaronSides2@RandylandSZN I fear downloading a document off Canvas takes max 5 minutes and should still have been done well in advance of when he actually planned to study that document
@Chaos2Cured@Logoleptic@llchristyll It’s against the law for us to put a student’s work into an AI engine. Students have the right to educational privacy. It is illegal for us to share their work in any way. Whether an AI can grade well is irrelevant, because we would be breaking the law if we even tried.
