@carolyn_phippen @BrocA96 If the sentiment wasn’t also typically paired with other grievances those individuals have with the church I might be more empathetic.

I have no doubt it happens (and accommodations should be considered), but not at the rate progressive Mormon twitter claims it does.

Changes in behavior are best preceded by a change of heart. And nothing changes hearts more deeply, purely, & permanently than the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

@jaredhhurst @Mormonger Whoa man, that’s not the stat you lead with. Rape is a very complex issue and many opposed to abortion are willing to allow it in these cases.

If you just want to grandstand in an echo chamber, proceed; but this just adds fuel to the fire of the ‘abortion in any case’ crowd.

Reminds me of the scene in Robin Hood when the sheriff robs Friar Tuck.

@leebryantutah @bobdedbuilder @KSLcom So, I read the article. While not used as a meeting house, it’s used as an administrative building for the missionaries. Like a mission office. The church evaluated the idea to sell or give & chose give.

His coming didn’t negate the commandment of adultery but enhanced it to encourage us to also consider lust & impure thoughts in our obedience.

Its about changing our hearts, then seeing our dress change. Vs the other way around
