Justin Rose is joining McLaren Golf as its first global ambassador, as well as an investor in the business.

McLaren equipment will make its tour debut this week in Miami. Rose played a key role in prototype testing, offering feedback that helped shape the impending gear releases.

“From the beginning, this has been a passion project,” said Rose. “I’ve had the opportunity to be involved from the outset – working with the team, testing the clubs and helping shape what they’ve become. That level of involvement, combined with the standards McLaren brings to everything they do, made this an easy decision for me. I’m excited to put the clubs in play and watch the brand flourish.”

Three years ago, Goldman Sachs projected the Creator Economy would approach half a trillion dollars by 2027.

In golf, that prediction is playing out in real time.
@GrantHorvatGolf and @bryanbrosgolf recently announced a new tour with a $1m purse built exclusively for creators.

It follows a wave of momentum: the Internet Invitational (run by @barstoolsports and @bobdoessports), LIV Golf Duels, and the Creator Classics on the PGA Tour.

The Internet Invitational has had 27m+ YouTube views across six episodes, with basketball legend LeBron James among those tuning in.

This is perfect timing for the golf creators with them in Season 3 of the Major Cut. Looking forward to seeing how this works.
