Played through this one with my wife (who also got her first platinum). Level 5 games are a blind spot for me so glad to check this one off the list.

A bit grindy for me, would have just beat the story and moved on if on my own.

Platinum number 41: Final Fantasy II

I can see why this is kind of the outcast of the classic final fantasy games. Levelling system is super weird and I did not realise how powerful the blood sword was until the final boss.

Always enjoy basic old school JRPGs.

Platinum Number 37: Final Fantasy

Cool to see where it all started. The QoL features added with the pixel remaster are fantastic.

Being the first game in the series (from 1987) it’s quite basic but it’s fun to see how many things are present which remained through later games
