We'd like to invite the public to observe convicted murderer Clinton Gayle's fourth parole hearing. 

Unfortunately, the Parole Board of Canada makes access to public hearings quite difficult. This includes sending a 3-page form at least 30 days in advance.

More notice than the victim’s family was given at all.

This is another example of why our parole system urgently needs reform. The federal government must step in and address these shortcomings.

The family of PC Todd Baylis, a police officer executed in the line of duty, deserves greater transparency, meaningful support and a process that respects victims rather than offenders.

Beware when selling tickets on SeatGeek. If you want to re-sell tickets purchased through Ticketmaster on the MLB Ball Park App you can only re-sell them on SeatGeek. If you purchase your tickets in $US currency but you live in Canada and have a Canadian bank account attached to receive the payment, you will be paid in $Canadian currency and SeatGeek pockets the exchange rate. Their phone number is not in service, and the only way to contact them is through their app. After you try several times on their chat bot to address your issue, they will send you an email where you can have an email conversation with what appears to be a human, but in this day and age who knows! However, they will not give you the $US exchange rate even though they sell the tickets in $US currency. #scam #scamalert #seatgeek

The OPP Association is devastated by the death of one of our Members who was killed in the line of duty today while operating a police motorcycle in Cobourg. During this difficult time, we offer our deepest condolences to the Member’s family, colleagues, and friends.

The Member’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
