The Simcoe County Suicide Awareness Council would like to apologize for cancelling our Walk for Suicide Awareness and Life Promotion on Saturday May 23, 2026.
The decision was not made lightly. The inclement weather including high winds and heavy rain made this necessary.
Although our website messaging states rain or shine, we felt this weather was a lot worse than anticipated. While at the location we tried to find an alternative, but were unsuccessful.
Please stay tuned as we work with our supporters to plan for another walk date. 2/
