@J_Michaels25 @AdamMcCalvy He pitched for Milwaukee on 5/30 and was optioned down to Nashville on 5/31. He never pitched for Nashville so apparently they backdated the IL trip to when he was on the big league roster instead of optioning him down. I’m more interested in the severity of the injury.

@theotherRobin19 They’re not gonna burn his option just to cover until (hopefully) Lockridge is back in a couple weeks. Now if we get into mid-July and Lockridge has regressed and Mitchell/Frelick are still struggling, then I could see bringing up Lara, provided he’s still playing well at AAA.

@KenIngalls Why was Sean Rhyan’s contract announced as “extended” instead of “re-signed?” Didn’t his contract expire after the season?

@Brennen_Rupp Would be against their MO to draft a college guard and he’s also older than the players they tend to draft. But his athletic profile, pending any agility tests he performs, fits what they typically look for in players. His stock is rising so good chance he’s off the board by 52.
