@rossco1874@Morton_FC@TonClubTogether@MortonSLO Working on this with Mark, we should be able to get something up and running tomorrow as the staff are off today 👍 we are looking at having an option to purchase a ticket which is essentially donated to MITC to use.
@SammyMcfarlane1@Morton_FC Hi Sammy, the idea behind it is to help provide financial stability. If Dalrada or other money arrives, the money raised can be diverted to become reserves for future, worst case scenario it will help provide liquidity. Money will be kept in a separate account until required.
An incredible response from the Morton support since Fighting Fund was launched!
So far we’ve received:
💙 £4,500 donated directly to the Fighting Fund
💙 £500 donation to Morton Club Together
💙 £1,500 through a new advertising board commitment
That’s £6,500 raised in just an hour and a half!
Thank you to everyone who has donated, committed sponsorship, shared the appeal or sent messages of support. The response so far shows exactly what Greenock Morton means to so many people.
We’re only at the beginning, but this is a fantastic start.
If you’d like to contribute to the Morton Fighting Fund, every donation - large or small - will help protect the future of our club.

Tough result in the end but gritty and battling performance from the team and well done to the youngsters making there league debuts.
Brilliant backing from the home support as well for the full 90 minutes!
@WakeyTon That’s not my understanding but happy to double check that one for you 👍 I do know we also have a limit to the number of home matches we are allowed to stream to the UK across the season even if it’s out with the blackout, believe it is 5 from memory.
@Chrismcnulty75@AndyRossTele@greenocktele The rumour is exactly that Chris, a rumour; there is no work permit issue with Jayden or any other players as Andy has said.
Tough circumstances but a battling performance from the team and incredible experience for five of our youngsters, congratulations to all of them on making their professional debuts today!
Full-Time: St Johnstone 3-0 Greenock Morton
A strong effort on the road as we end the match with a squad of an average age just under 21-years-old.
Calan Burgess and Haiden Lang making history as the club's youngest ever debutants 👏
@xxmpvtxx@offtheballbbc@Morton_FC We have contacted BBC Kelly about it, no problem with discussion about the situation but as you say messages like that are incorrect and dangerous.
🆕 A joint general update is now available; hear from:

Stewart was a great guy who was passionate about the club, making a great contribution in his years involved, right from the early days of @TonClubTogether.
My heartfelt condolences go to Helen, Stewart’s children, and all of his family at this sad time. Rest in peace.💙
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of former director Stewart Farmer after a long illness.
A lifelong Morton supporter, Stewart was instrumental in the creation of Morton Club Together (MCT) and served as one of the directors of MCT before taking his place on the football club board. He played a key role in the development of MCT and in the takeover of the football club by the community.
As a Morton director, he contributed to the turnaround of the club on and off the pitch, as the early days of MCT ownership saw the team move away from the relegation zone and challenging for the promotion play-offs, while off the pitch, the club turned regular six-figure losses into annual profits.
He was justifiably proud of the early successes of community ownership at Cappielow and of the part he played in that.
He stepped aside from his role as his health deteriorated, but still attended Cappielow as often as he was able. He was always keen to find out what was happening at the club, both on and off the pitch.
Stewart leaves behind his wife Helen, a daughter and two sons.
Rest in peace, Stewart. The heartfelt condolences from the Morton community go to his family at this difficult time.

@gail_hendry It would make such a difference both to the atmosphere and financially, but it’s on the club and MCT to work together to find away that persuades those sorts of numbers to come regularly 💪🏻
Last night was the most stressful game of football I’ve ever watched, but absolutely delighted for everyone at the club and all supporters that we got the result required! 💙
Backing from the stands was incredible all night! 👏 Time to regroup, reset and move forward together!
