Guiding Hands • Behind every outcome are the people who shape it - through guidance, shared knowledge and the passing on of experience. Across families, across teams and across generations, that influence carries forward - refining judgement, shaping direction and leaving a legacy over time.
At Graham Beck, it is this shared pursuit that shapes every bottle of Cap Classique.

International Women’s Day • Today we celebrate the women whose work shapes Graham Beck across the vineyard, the cellar and the broader House. From hands-on viticulture to decision-making in the cellar and leadership that guides the long view, their contribution is felt in the standards upheld every day - leadership through consistency, craft through presence and capability through action.

A New Chapter for the House of Graham Beck • After nearly four decades devoted to the pursuit of the perfect bubble, our founding winemaker, Pieter “Bubbles” Ferreira, formally retires from Graham Beck - leaving behind an extraordinary legacy that helped define our House and the global rise of Cap Classique.
Under his guidance, Graham Beck grew from an ambitious South African producer into one of the world’s most respected bottle-fermented sparkling wine Houses. His conviction and belief in what South Africa could achieve, along with a lifelong dedication to craft, continue to shape every Graham Beck bottle today.
Cellarmaster Pierre de Klerk now assumes stewardship of the cellar, supported by winemaker Lizemari Geldenhuys. Having worked alongside Pieter for more than 15 years, Pierre carries forward the same philosophy that has long guided our wines - precision, intent and respect for time.
The pursuit continues.

Celebrating a Defining Contribution to Cap Classique • We’re proud to share that Pieter “Bubbles” Ferreira, our founding Cellarmaster, has received the Wine Advancement Award at the 2026 SA Wine Harvest Commemorative Event. For nearly four decades, Pieter’s conviction, energy and belief in what Cap Classique could become have helped define our House and elevate South African sparkling wine on the world stage. His influence lives on in the precision, intent and craft that shape every Graham Beck bottle today.

The Ceremony of a New Season • Our 36th harvest begins with a moment of unity – the annual Harvest Parade. Our vineyard and cellar teams gather for a blessing before the first grapes of 2026 move from vineyard to cellar, a symbolic handover rooted in gratitude, anticipation and belief in what the new season may bring.
It marks the beginning of another year of Cap Classique – carried forward by the people, the place and the rhythm of the season.

Where Creation Finds Form • From the Robertson landscape to our Innovation Cellar, this work brings two disciplines together - art and winemaking, united by imagination and precision.
Over three days, artist Michael Chandler painted a ceramic wine egg using pigments born from our vineyard soils. Each brushstroke reinterprets the land that shapes our Cap Classique, transforming earth into colour, and colour into story.
Now displayed within our Innovation Cellar, the piece reflects where creation and craft become one.
