From buses to bags, this government backs China before Scotland. Disgraceful

[Scottish Daily Mail @MailOnlineScot]

Swinney's free schoolbags for every Scottish P1 pupil are to be manufactured... in CHINA!

Well done @ABlandMSP for talking about this. An excellent piece

[The Sunday Post @Sunday_Post]

As a child, Amanda Bland learned the terrible rules of living in a house ruled by fear and violence: do not speak, do not tell, do not bring shame on the family.

I tried to find out when new councils will be set up - they don't know - and what happens if Cosla and the Scottish Government disagree. All I got was waffle.

Good local report of our discussions at @SP_TransportCom today on islands flights - including the very steep fares https://t.co/HSUuok3S3p via @Shetnews

[Graham Simpson @GrahamSMSP]

The situation at Syngenta is very serious. It's a time for everyone to pull together to see if anything can be done to alleviate job losses and attract new opportunities for Grangemouth.

[Reform UK Scotland @ReformUKScot]

Railway crime costs approx £2m per year, the A9 is still a death trap and the Scottish Government doesn’t know how to procure Ferries.

Scotland, it’s time for #Reform

[Graham Simpson @GrahamSMSP]

It was great to visit @LerwickPort during a fact-finding visit to Shetland with @Max4Moray where we found out lots about ferries, planes, energy etc. Very useful for my work with the @SP_TransportCom

Alex is right, as he often is

[Alex Neil @AlexNeilSNP]

We are being ‘governed’ by a bunch of lightweights both north and south of the border. Neither Swinney nor Burnham are up to the job. Britain is broken but so is Scotland ( unnecessarily) broken

Flynn says failure of Alexander Dennis furlough scheme ‘deeply disappointing’ https://t.co/qH9HJP530g

It is currently illegal to make a direct award for two small ferries to Ferguson Marine. Changing that will lead to delays that islanders can't afford to have.

[Reform UK Scotland @ReformUKScot]

The Scottish Government can’t be trusted with Ferries ⬇️

I asked John Swinney about Glasgow Council’s leader’s view that the city should be able to move homeless people elsewhere. His answer was bizarre.

Lovely to chat to my old pal Rev Jason Lingiah at St Andrew’s Church in Bellshill today about a range of local issues. Dating back to 1762, it’s the oldest building in town I believe.

None of the other parties are backing our motion so they must have confidence in the minister. How can that be?

[Reform UK Scotland @ReformUKScot]

🚨5703 drug deaths since Maree Todd MSP became a Health Minister in 2021‼️

Reform is lodging a motion of no confidence in the Minister for Mental Wellbeing, Public Health, Sport, Alcohol and Drugs over the persistently high number of drug deaths in Scotland.

I have been pushing a multi-modal ticketing system across Scotland for years. It's taking far too long. MSYP Matthew Gordon popped in to tell me about our Youth Parliament's backing for the idea.

I enjoyed watching @albionrovers take on local rivals @OfficialCColts today with Rovers beating 10-man Colts 2-1. I hope the motivated team that runs the club can achieve their dream of making it a truly community facility.

[Graham Simpson @GrahamSMSP]

Congratulations to @michaeljmarra on becoming Scottish Labour leader and well done to my friend @JoeJFagan on his campaign. I wish them both well but not too well.

[Graham Simpson @GrahamSMSP]

I got Hannah Mary Goodlad to promise to issue guidance on data centres to councils by the end of the year. I'm not sure if it will apply to applications already in the system though. We still need clarity on that.

[Graham Simpson @GrahamSMSP]

The @SP_TransportCom quizzed ScotRail on its shambolic new app yesterday. We have been told that as of yesterday ScotRail had received 3,967 complaints. Shocking.
