Learn accessibility: the most important software skill that bootcamps, video courses and tutorials often fail to teach.

Become a better engineer, become...an accessibility monster!

@DeniCodes Brb this echo is awful

[GrahamTheDev @GrahamTheDev]

@eddiejaoude Setup looks awesome. Looking forward to actually getting to chat on it after the kaffufle!

[GrahamTheDev @GrahamTheDev]

@branmcconnell Done - see if sorted! 💗

[GrahamTheDev @GrahamTheDev]

@TasonJorres @marcba @RoxanaCodes Sigh - wish I had shipped the Fuck It Ship It site, it was fun! haha

[GrahamTheDev @GrahamTheDev]

@eddiejaoude No because I, like most devs, have 3 different subscriptions and just switch them out when they run out. 🤣

I do watch context length to prevent drift and keep things fast though.

I will probably care more when this venture backed AI gravy train dries up and I pay per use! 💗

[GrahamTheDev @GrahamTheDev]

@cubedhuang nice catch, fixed! thanks bud. 💗

[DEV Community @ThePracticalDev]

Congrats to this week's top authors!

@GrahamTheDev, Adam - The Developer, @AdrianTheHactus, @m4rri4nne, @dannwaneri, Zayne Turner, and Anna.

@FrancescoCiull4 @init_bobjames @GIMP_Official @inkscape Looong way from needing pro, still working out shortcuts to cut etc. hahah

But one day I hope I need the extra quality and features!

15% increase in prices on already over-priced services?

Insta-cancel!

What are the best alternatives (one-off payment or free) for:
- After Effects
- Illustrator
- Photoshop

As that is basically all I use?

[GrahamTheDev @GrahamTheDev]

@razvanmuntian photopea is good, but give affinity a go (it is free now), it does vector and photo in a single canvas and that is super powerful!

Bit more to learn if you have never used illustrator, but worth it IMO.

[GrahamTheDev @GrahamTheDev]

@whoismikey @eddiejaoude Yeah but then you need the app that generates a push notification to check the app that reminds you to check the app. 🤪

[GrahamTheDev @GrahamTheDev]

@Gozar_4 @FrancescoCiull4 Late night drives and windows open in tunnels is all I do nowadays! hahaha

[GrahamTheDev @GrahamTheDev]

@FrancescoCiull4 The skyscraper technique I mentioned: https://t.co/0gj1T0pnKi

Needs updating to match the new world where shareability is more important than SEO.

[GrahamTheDev @GrahamTheDev]

@acolombiadev @FrancescoCiull4 yeah, kinda had to buy her once I saw (and heard) her! 😅

But being Italian it will be an expensive hobby soon I have no doubt! 🤣💗

[GrahamTheDev @GrahamTheDev]

@init_bobjames @GIMP_Official @inkscape Video editing I just went davinci.

For graphics ended up going for Affinity and it is very very good!

[GrahamTheDev @GrahamTheDev]

@lovelacecoding @msdevelx you asked for people to judge you, there was obviously nothing wrong with the code so we had to attack another way and be obnoxious by reminding you that MVPs are only allowed to build 3000 file mega repos in 2 days and not have fun anymore!!!

[GrahamTheDev @GrahamTheDev]

@WebinyCMS @ThePracticalDev Yup, same with humans to be fair, we all have that engineer who is a whizz and we start to trust them too much.

The only problem now is instead of one top tier dev you have the output of 200!

[GrahamTheDev @GrahamTheDev]

@eddiejaoude Loool, yeah I thought BST was British Standard Time.

GMT then :-P

Drop me a DM when works for you bud.
