🌳 Colomendy Loggerheads, Mold North Wales, enjoyed by thousands of #Merseyside / #Liverpool children over the decades.

🚸 It always reminded me of films like #OurDayOut, it captured perfectly what life was like as classes of #Scouse children decended on this small part of North Wales during the 1970/ 80s

😢 For many of us, it was our first time away from parents, our first 'holiday', maybe the first time away from #Liverpool at such a young age. Fears of #PegLeg were real, tears on the first night were aplenty and stories of rubber toast were also true
