A 24-year-old with 51 previous convictions who took part in a Temple Bar gang attack on a victim who was slashed and stabbed multiple times has been jailed for three years and nine months.
In an impact statement, the victim wrote that most of his assailants “are still roaming free”, which has left him with “a deep-seated frustration”. He said these people must be held accountable “not only for me but also to prevent the same thing happening to anyone else”.
