People keep waiting for tyranny to arrive wearing a black trench coat and jackboots. It won't.
It will arrive as a software update.
Almost everything we value - our history, court records, textbooks, and family photos - now lives on someone else's server. When you rely on digital copies, you don't own anything. You rent it. And once physical paper copies are gone, there’s no baseline left to check against. History won't be erased by burning books in the street. It’ll happen quietly while your phone updates overnight.
@BabyD1111229 I just spent 12 days (2 weekends) waiting on a simple Carrier board replacement. No AC on 90+ degree days. Will never buy Carrier again. Too many electronics. Sassy, arrogant dealers.
Bring back mechanical parts. I'll choose those for kitchen appl, washers, dryers too.
@glennbeck They removed irreplaceable books from college libraries all over the country in the 1990s. In the name of modernization and progress - replaced with the left's new "media centers". Probably incinerated. History written by those closest to it - gone forever.
