@irishexaminer Universities here restrict the number of Irish people getting into medicine and prefer to educate foreigners because they pay higher fees. The number of Irish graduates employed is also restricted. That is why so many are working abroad. The system needs to be changed.

@IrishTimes Loads coming here to college and are then allowed work for 2 years, thats why some in the article who came in 2022 couldn’t apply until 2024 for family visas. They are getting cost rentals and allowed buy houses, thus preventing our own young people getting on housing ladder.
