The riots in France are almost certainly backed by the hard right in France and personified by the harridan that is Marine Le Pen.
As soon as @elonmusk jumps in in support you know that to be the case.
This has all been orchestrated her adherents and agitators.
I wonder how much money Elon had given Marine? Not an insubstantial amount I might hazard a guess.
