@xbiscaynebaex I know it’s not exactly the same but I was well into my adult years before I realized goats’ irises were vertical. I was wrecked when I saw it up close. Wrecked.
Alright, first glass poured off the Infinity Bottle since around Memorial Day. Definitely beat the 5.5 bottle over kicker. Easily 10 bottles’ worth of shorts in there. Gave the decanter a healthy few shakes before pouring. It’s fantastic - both a bit hot and smooth.
Haven’t done an Infinity Bottle in over 10 years. But I unearthed one of my remaining 1920’s crystal decanters in our move & decided to start one w/ it & the last bit of a bottle of Four Roses Single Barrel. Over/under on my 1st try of the concoction being set @ 5.5 bottle ends.
@jim_fix I went from being like the pixies have some ok songs to they also have some awful songs. And for the record I’m not gonna be buying a MM record or anything lol Enjoyed it live I guess
@jim_fix I didn’t get the dual mics. There was one song where they used auto-tune pretty heavily, but that was all I noticed. I wonder if she needed the two just to get adequate projection of her voice. Whatever it was, ultimately her set made me remember why I never “got it.”
@chrisatecheese Also Very Scary People and the Monster (Atlanta Monster and others) series was pretty good. Ear Hustle (more about prison life than true crime, per se) is wonderful too.
@chrisatecheese Down the Hill was a good Delphi cast. Criminal is “true crime adjacent” than hardcore crime solving, but it’s a great listen. Up and Vanished was good while it was free but I think is kinda behind a paywall now? Dead and Gone was good if you can stomach Grateful Dead content.
