76% of DoorDash deliveries are happening on two wheels in SF! We are #1 in North America for two-wheel delivery.

In our densest areas (downtown, nob hill,mission, north beach, marina) I bet this number pushes 90%+

This further supports the viability of car-free/car-lite streets in the core of our cities. We need more public park space. Our streets are our future linear parks. Food delivery via e-bikes, mopeds, and @CocoRobotics means restaurant food delivery can thrive while we expand European-style outdoor dining and car-free promenades

Please amplify this great news! Our policy leaders @DannySauter @bilalmahmood @DanielLurie need to add long greenways to our city core in order to help it compete with western neighborhood and the burbs. Humans don’t choose to live amongst traffic, noise and cement. Give them promenades!

Growing up in San Francisco, I remember when this area was shadowed by a freeway. Today, it’s a vibrant hub of restaurants, shops, and bustling activity—and we’re about to take it to the next level.

Tomorrow, I’m introducing legislation to approve an exciting public-private partnership with BXP. Together, we’re bringing a new vision to Embarcadero Plaza, transforming it into a 24/7 neighborhood for everyone to live, work, and play.
