BJP has been in the central government since 2014, yet some people still expect Rahul Gandhi to step in and end Sonam Wangchuk's hunger strike.

Ironically, why should he?

I remember when Anna Hazare was on a hunger strike — Congress handled that protest so well that people apparently still expect them to solve everyone else's protests too.

Once the NEET results are out, there will probably be no one left to support this movement anyway.

One thing seems clear: this protest appears to be designed, at least in part, to politically corner Congress.

Congress, meanwhile, is doing quite well by not giving it any free publicity.

Sometimes, the loudest response is silence.
