Students don’t need to learn "social and emotional skills" from woke activists. What they need is schools that are focused on delivering a quality education that will teach them about the world and show them how to think.

Not an "education" that teaches them that we are all doomed due to climate change, that objective reality doesn’t exist because feelings always come first, that society is full of racism, homophobia, transphobia (etc), and that the solution is to divide people into oppressor/oppressed groups, coddle feelings, squash free speech and restrict individual liberty.

If you care about student mental health, CUT funding to ideologically captured organizations, don’t give them *MORE* money. It really isn’t that complicated.

Then, allow teachers/administrators to set high standards for behaviour, teach students how to act appropriately through explicit instruction and practice, and empower them to apply the proper consequences when those standards for behaviour are not met…that way they can get back to focusing on TEACHING. Zero extra tax dollars needed.
