BEAR IN GR: A bear has wandered its way into Grand Rapids! First spotted last night near MacKay Park. Now up in a tree off Horton. DNR about to tranquilize him and get him home... they say he probably came from about 45 minutes north of here. @WOODTV

A GRPD officer with a better view than me shared this video. It’s grainy but you can see the bear fall. Don’t worry — the bear should be fine, I’m told. @WOODTV
