The GRM Networks GRC Boys Track & Field Players of the Week are the relay team of Diego Lopez, Treven Riediger, Tagg Turner, and Corbin-Campbell Johnson of the Putnam County Midgets. They won the 4x100m and 4x200m Relays at Sectionals, advancing to State in both. The GRM Networks GRC West Boys Player of the Week is Troy Madison of the North Andrew Cardinals. Troy pitched 7 innings allowing only 2 hits, 1 base on ball, and zero earned runs. He struck out 15 hitters as well. Troy was the winning pitcher in a 16-1 win over Platte Valley. At the plate, he went 2 for 6 at the plate with a double, 3 runs, 2 RBI, and 2 base on balls. The GRM Networks GRC Girls Player of the Week is Clara Hoyt of the Brookfield Lady Bulldogs Track & Field Team. Clara advanced to State in the 1600m and 3200m runs. She finished first in the 3200m, and set a PR in the 1600m with a time of 5:38.70. Congratulations to Clara.

The Regional Missouri Bank GRC Team of the Week is the Marceline Tigers Baseball Team. Marceline clinched the outright GRC Championship on Monday with a 13-3 win over rival Brookfield. It is Marceline’s first GRC Baseball Championship. They followed that up with a 9-2 win over Slater in the first round of Districts. Congratulations to Marceline.
