Dear Rt. Hon Sir @Keir_Starmer, KC and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland,
I bring you greetings. This message would not be complete, if popular opposition politicians are not tagged especially, the Rt Hon. @KemiBadenoch MP and Leader of His Majesty Opposition, the Rt. Hon @Nigel_Farage, Anti Migrant Propagandist.
It is a moral responsibility on political players in our political ecosystem to be truthful to the electorates. As a matter of fact, it should be criminal to misinform the electorates or push propaganda that could be termed as misinformation.
I also emplore migrants to have an open and honest conversation with some of their folks because there is a lot of misinformation going around.
I had a very interesting conversation with a white British gentleman yesterday and at first he thought I was a foreigner which I admit to be, but at the moment I am a British citizen.
He thought that foreigners just get to the UK easily and take everything and are given priority than British people. He thinks and holds strongly that foreigners take British jobs.
I smiled 😊 because I was about to be mischievous. We continue our conversation.
In the course of the conversation, I asked him his age and he told me which is roughly around my age. I asked his qualifications and he said he didn't have a University education.
I went further to tell him that we are almost the same age and based on his initial assertion that foreigners take British jobs, it will be right for him to say I may have taken his job since we are almost within the same age bracket.
He didn't say anything.
I asked if he thinks he can take my job back because it is his job that I initially took and nothing wrong for him to take it back? He laughed.
I said firstly, he needs to have a law degree, Master in law, two postgraduate legal training, qualify in two or more jurisdictions and at least 12 years work experience as well as other legal and regulatory requirements as well as be able to manage more than 100 caseloads
He said that's like forever. I said, that it is a part of my CV to keep my current job which he agrees would have been his job.
I hope we understand the misinformation from our interactions?
This led me to the reason why I decided to address the PM et al.
It will cost an average MSc student the following to get to the UK :
1. Tuition fees = app £12000 plus
2. Immigrant Health Surcharge(IHS)= £1216
3. Application fee= £550
4. Tax in Accommodation
5. Tax in the airline ticket
Upon Arrival in the UK
1. Monthly Tax and NI Contributions
2. Other tax not elsewhere classified
Upon Successful completion of the Course
1. Application £890
2. IHS = £2070
3. NI Contribution and Tax
Five Year Skilled Worker Visa
1. Application fee = £590 to £900
2. IHS = £0 to £5175
These are the basics. I have stayed almost 24 years in the UK and have used the NHS not more than 4 times.
How is legal migrants a leach on the system or taking British jobs?
This sort of propaganda is what we read from a particular country with a drug man at the helm of affairs, not the UK or from Orange man across the Atlantic.
Let's be British because our politics should be fact based.
Thank you 😊

@officialptdf This could be a scam. I don't expect a government agency to ask for payment before verifying applicants’ NIN. Don't fall for it guys. Asking you to pay ₦500 to receive ~ ₦50,000,000 in tuition fee. That's laughable, don't fall for it.
Whatever you are doing at the moment, even if you are looking for something else, take it seriously.
Be conscientious and don’t ever be the “barest minimum” guy in the room. Those who only “tick the box” don’t play in the big league as there are many of those around. Those who get to disrupt are those who go the “extra mile”.
The choice is yours.

Today marks my graduation anniversary from the University of Oxford, where I completed the MSc in Law and Finance. Gratefully, it’s also my first day as an Associate at Greenberg Traurig LLP. @GTLawLondon!
This past year has been nothing short of transformative—from handling COP28-related policy briefs on the voluntary carbon market in emerging economies to gaining an insider’s perspective on the publishing world with Oxford University Press, and through an intense but rewarding stint at Trinity International LLP, I’ve built a foundation of experience that’s both deep and diverse.
While building this foundation, I tackled the SQE1 assessments (for my dual qualification) at my own expense, and under very demanding circumstances, achieving a top quintile result in both limbs of the assessment (FLK 1&2). I also earned my SQE2 exemption outright based on experience, bringing me just a step away from admission as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
As I discussed with a senior during a recent catch-up, this year so far has been an intense journey—a relentless pace, big milestones, and the kind of momentum that led to multiple offers from leading city (and magic circle) firms, before I chose to join GT!
With 2024 still in play, I’m beyond ready for this next chapter. Huge appreciation to the incredible loved ones @thediary_keeper@israeloflife , mentors, and mentees who stood by me, took risks, and pushed me forward—never gatekeeping. These are the kinds of people you want in your corner.
Now, it’s time to step up and make waves in this new role, by His grace!🤝
However good your seed may be, the quality of the soil will determine how it grows. Environment matters. Self-leadership requires for you to create the right internal and external environments for your potential to flourish, and the potentials of those you influence.
Ever thought about how great men and women have walked this earth before us? I reflected on that last weekend, and it reminded me of the power of living with purpose. Sharing my thoughts here. #LifeReflection#PurposefulLiving#TrustTheProcess
Religion humanizes this universe, makes us feel important and loved. We are not animals governed by uncontrollable drives, animals that die for no apparent reason, but creatures made in the image of supreme being.
Massive congratulations to my friend @ayantolamaximus for starting his PhD at Oxford after 2 years of working as a digital policy researcher at Cambridge! From Mastercard Foundation Scholar in 2020 to 3x Commonwealth nominee & 2019 KDI scholarship winner —your journey is inspiring, and I am very proud of you and your accomplishments.
Onwards and upwards, brother!

@IAmClintMurphy Absolutely spot on! I’m writing this on the first page of my work notebook to remind myself weekly. As someone just starting out, this advice is definitely key to becoming the kind of colleague everyone wants to work with ❤️
A NECESSITY FOR SURVIVING ABROAD.
One key to succeeding as an immigrant is spiritual stability and power. Ignore it at your peril.
Once you arrive in the UK, find a church that suits you rather than follow a denomination. Why? Your church denomination does not guarantee success.
I was raised as an Anglican. When I got to the UK over 34 years ago, I joined a Pentecostal church called Christ Apostolic Church (CAC). That was where I joined the prayer warriors, became an usher, started attending Bible studies, cleaned and set the church up, became a Sunday School teacher, a Deacon, an Elder, and served several pastors.
I was there for 15 years and was ordained as a pastor there before I left to start Winners Kingdom 20 years ago. So, in 35 years in the UK, I have only attended two churches. How many have you attended in the last five years?
Don’t go to the big churches or where they speak the most grammar. Don’t disappear into the crowd. Look for a place where you can grow and submit to the authority there. Make the pastor your ‘friend’.
Stop looking for a church where you will get a wife or a husband or where the fine babes are gathered. That is where some of you pick the ‘ogbanjes’ for a wife.
When I joined CAC, the average age of the people in the church I attended was 45. I was the youngest, but the Lord gave me all I required for life in that church. I found my wife outside the church and brought her to the church.
Stay where God planted you. He is abundantly able.
And you readers, don’t say spiritual matters are a scam. It shows you are being childish. Just like Paul the Apostle, as learned as I am, I could not have come this far without God.
Even though I don’t use social media to say many spiritual things, I have had unbelievable Apostolic and Prophetic grace throughout my life. I know there is a spiritual world and powers.
You can make the money and become very influential, but a lack of power can sweep it all away in an instant. The devil is so cunning. Don’t let him deceive you. Get on board.
Receive the Holy Ghost power and the spirit of stability today.
