I've done something very stupid. I've signed up for a harder race than ever before. It's the "Brigg Poppy 10k & military challenge" from @curlysathletes . I'll obviously be wearing full CBRN kit, plus that time I'll have 20kg on my back as well.

The closer it gets to Sunday, the less I'll be able to do. If I do too much in the days running up to the event, I won't be able to complete the 10km on Sunday - that's just the way it goes.

I've now set up the fundraising page for Sunday's event & livestream. All proceeds are obviously going toward @supportthewalk .

Here's some bad news. The #York10k on Sunday may not be happening with me in it. I've not recovered from my loaded march 3 weeks ago. I worked in the garage today to see how I was physically, and it didn't go too well. That means I may not be able to do the event on Sunday.

The wind today was a nightmare, even though it wasn't that strong. The flag was all over the place. I managed to walk up to the #parkrun , but once there, I couldn't do the actual run/walk. I ended up marshalling instead. Oh well - roll on #York10k next week

How about I walk around the outside of an athletics track while it's not being used for racing (during an athletics sporting event, of course).

Oh well - I didn't get into the London Marathon. I'm not giving up, though. I'll see if Walking With The Wounded has any charity places. If not, I'll try other charities.

Ok, I need your help. I know I can walk around football & rugby pitches while they're playing. What other venues can I walk around.? They will need to have at least a hundred spectators/supporters that will be able to see me and my flag

Out of 4 venues I've contacted to test out my new challenge, I've had a reply from 1 major venue with an average attendance in the thousands saying they are interested in working with new... Insert huge chest grin emoji
