Florence Hasegawa

Florence passed away peacefully on 3/14/14, just two months short of her 106th birthday, leaving behind a legacy of universally loved, wise and witty tweets.

[Florence Hasegawa @GrandmaFlorence]

@lizziet83 @Soos808 I might take you up on that! Thank you!

[Florence Hasegawa @GrandmaFlorence]

@Soos808 She's certainly a source of wonderful material... nearly 106 years worth!!

[Florence Hasegawa @GrandmaFlorence]

@lizziet83 She read about Australia in the National Geographic and marked the map with lots of red inked arrows and notes.

[Florence Hasegawa @GrandmaFlorence]

@Soos808 Original indeed!

[Florence Hasegawa @GrandmaFlorence]

@watanabenao She would say, "I don't mind admitting one or two tweets might have been lovely."

[Florence Hasegawa @GrandmaFlorence]

@livepono Best wishes are appreciated.

[Florence Hasegawa @GrandmaFlorence]

@cuddlydana She was funniest when she was serious.

[Florence Hasegawa @GrandmaFlorence]

@smorishige Hi, How are you?

[Florence Hasegawa @GrandmaFlorence]

Here I am. A young acupuncturist does energy work on me so I'll be good to go, but the yummy smoothies are too delicious to leave behind!

[Florence Hasegawa @GrandmaFlorence]

@Imyo_Daddy Hi David. How is your family?

[Florence Hasegawa @GrandmaFlorence]

@Cbab I'm still here.

[Florence Hasegawa @GrandmaFlorence]

@miahmane I'm still here, just lost my password. Must be getting old!.

[Florence Hasegawa @GrandmaFlorence]

I lost my password, but Patty found it, so we can play with this again.

[Florence Hasegawa @GrandmaFlorence]

Patty is creating a Mom's Day special on Maui AKAKU TV "More Mama Drama." I look like I'm 1,000 yrs old, but I talk & walk & eat ice cream!

[Florence Hasegawa @GrandmaFlorence]

Tho' I'm lazy & sleep a lot, I still read, write, & EAT! Tnxgiving-cranberries. Xmas-pudding. New Year-mochi. Time is crawling by very slow.

[Florence Hasegawa @GrandmaFlorence]

Patty is moving in even tho I can take care of myself! When I told her she needs a BF to take care of her, she said, "Look who's talking!"

[Florence Hasegawa @GrandmaFlorence]

Patty put a manikin on my porch so I called the police to report a skinny teenager is here. They arrived & we all had a good laugh.

[Florence Hasegawa @GrandmaFlorence]

I was 104 yest & the Melting Pot Rest gave me & Patty dinner for 2. First time I had fondue. Sauces were so tasty, I drank them like soup!
