As I get ready to pass on the torch to the next Labour leader and Prime Minister, here are my thoughts on our first two years in government.
What we've done, and more importantly, who we have done it for.

For the avoidance of doubt, I am completely opposed to Labour having a leadership challenge and will support Keir Starmer if there was such an election. I don't think there will be one in any case.
We do need to listen to voters on speeding up delivering change, especially on the cost of living.
Following the Tories down the path of constant coups against PMs would make the country politically and economically weaker and less stable at a time of intense strategic danger.
Labour moving to the left would have exactly the same disastrous results as every other time we tried it.

Very sad to see, played a big part in making FPS the industry defining games they are today. I've actually been playing some MW3 again recently so will make sure I finish those DLC missions in his honour.
I knew Vince Zampella well. Not "we text each other" well, but he & I would always talk about games, cars, & life when we saw each other and got time to talk, just us. He truly, genuinely changed the games industry with his work. RIP. This hurt to write: https://t.co/3TTHUYZgqN
I have always been clear that I haven't done anything wrong & I am grateful to the Labour Party for not recognising today's verdict in Bangladesh.

Sir Keir Starmer warns students not to take part in ‘un-British’ protests marking the anniversary of the October 7 Hamas massacre and accuses those who call for violence against Jews of a ‘total loss of empathy and humanity’
Writing in The Times, the prime minister says that Britain has become indifferent to antisemitism, posing a profound threat to the nation and its values
He accuses those taking part in the protests of a lack of respect for others and urges the police to use the ‘full force of the law’ against those who call for violence against Jews. ‘This is not who we are as a country,’ he says
More than a dozen protests will be held at British universities to mark the anniversary on Tuesday
‘Let me just spell that out for a moment: people on our streets calling for the murder of Jewish people they have never even met, for something they are not responsible for. A total loss of empathy and humanity not in some faraway land but right here in the heart of our country
‘On the anniversary of the atrocities of October 7, students are once again planning protests. This is not who we are as a country. It’s un-British to have so little respect for others. And that’s before some of them decide to start chanting hatred towards Jewish people all over again’

I am running to be Deputy Leader of @UKLabour.
As a proud working-class woman from the North East, I have come from a tough council street all the way to the Cabinet.
I will be a strong voice to unite our Party, take the fight to Reform, and deliver for our country.
Angela Rayner has achieved more in the last year than most politicians achieve in a lifetime - a trailblazer for working class kids from backgrounds like ours.
When those kids have a council house, when their mums and dads have better rights and pay, they’ll have her to thank.
