Some cervical screening results are now being sent through the NHS App.
If your result is normal, you’ll receive it securely in the app.
You’ll still get a letter in the post if you don’t have the app, or if more tests are needed.
In August 2025, our team reached a big milestone -we successfully handled 9,510 calls, the highest so far this year!
With four months still to go, we’re excited to keep building on this progress and continue serving our community with care and commitment.

It can be very unpleasant, but usually goes away in about 2 days.
You can usually treat yourself at home, but the most important thing is to rest and have lots of fluids.

Curious about what happens on a research study? 🤔
Studies could involve trailing a new medication, filling out a questionnaire or something completely different, like testing virtual reality technology.
