We are very excited to be taking part in the @inspiredlearninggroup Choir Festival! The girls have been amazing in rehearsals and received lots of compliments. They have really done our school proud. Well done girls. Looking forward to performing later!
Grange Park Prep school are looking forward to celebrating World Book Day this coming Friday March 4th. The children can come to school dressed as their favourite literary character. We are looking forward to spending the day celebrating books and reading.
Nursery have been very creative with their connectors and bricks. One group of children made super sized bikes out of their connectors and another group of children turned their blocks into a campfire. They used blocks as seats, a fire and they roasted marshmallows!
Nursery have had a fantastic morning as we had a visit from the Author Ian Brown. @IanBrownTV He came and read his book" Albert Upside Down" to us which is based on a real life tortoise called Albert!
We are so lucky that the PTA bought us each a book that Ian signed for us.
Nursery have been learning all about baby animals.
They enjoyed making dough animals and working on their cutting skills by matching babies to their mothers.
In dance and drama they sang and danced to animal songs and they have been learning sign language for different animals.
Before the end of term we had a fantastic performance assembly. What a wonderful way to celebrate the children’s talents. Well done to all who participated.
GPPS children had a fantastic time at the Halloween disco! They enjoyed yummy food, could get their face painted and of course they could dance the night away! Thank you to the PTA for such a fab event!
GPPS were honoured to have been visited by the company Mahogany Carnival Arts. They taught us all about Carnival and Carnival celebrations.
We learnt about the history of carnival how and where it originated and why it is such an important part of our culture today.
